Welcome to the Isuzu Bellett Nationals 2021 registration.
As you all know, the current climate with sudden changes to state border restrictions can make organising an event quite difficult. With this in mind, we are going to press ahead with organising this event but we ask you to read the following information carefully.
Cancellation - In the event of the nationals needing to be cancelled due to border restrictions please note your accommodation changes will need to be managed directly with the Hahndorf Resort (they have been very accommodating so far), and we will give you a partial refund of your registration fees. We will withhold $30 of your registration fee, as some elements of what we are organising will not be able to be refunded. However, this $30 will mean that even if the event does not go ahead, you will still receive your Bellett Nationals Goodie Bag (a branded Cooler Bag containing your Bellett Nationals Stubby Holder and Leather Keyring).
Accommodation - Most of you have already secured your accommodation, but if you have not yet booked, please contact the Hahndorf Resort (Big4) as soon as possible to book your room, we have a group of rooms allocated to Bellett Nationals attendees, so make sure you let them know you're with the Bellett Nationals so you get a room in the same area as everyone else. Merchandise - we will have a range of merchandise available, including polo shirts, workshop shirts, jackets, hats etc - these will be ordered separately from the event registration and the form will be made available as soon as we have finalised this with our supplier.
Show & Shine Cost - as you'll see, there is a cost associated with the Show & Shine, please be aware this cost is essentially a breakfast fee, as we are looking to use a prime parking location in the middle of Hahndorf, kindly agreed by the local shops and the cafe in particular who will be providing our breakfast. If for some reason we cannot use this location and our plans change, please note we will refund the Show & Shine breakfast fees if we are no longer providing breakfast. We had hope to have this 100% committed before releasing this registration form, however final decision are taking longer than expected and we must press ahead with these registrations.
Belletts vs AFL Grand Final Lunch - as the Nationals coincides with the AFL Grand Final, we are putting on a lunch for everyone, to be held near the rooms at Hahndorf Resort. Final details to be confirmed, but likely to be all you can eat Wood Oven Pizza and we're also making arrangements to have a TV outside to broadcast the football for those who want to watch. So whether you're there for the AFL, the pizzas or just to chat all things Belletts, this Saturday afternoon lunch should be a lot of fun for all. Please BYO drinks.
Awards Night Theme - This year we are doing a B is for Bellett Theme, so come dressed as something / someone starting with B.
Bay to Birdwood - We have approximately 15 cars entered into the Bay to Birdwood which is terrific. For those who aren't participating in Bay to Birdwood but would like to watch the cars go past, we'll be providing some suggested route options for optimal viewing. Bay to Birdwood Website
Breakfast at The Bend - this is a unique offering which we can only offer on Monday morning, 27th September. This is your opportunity to drive your car around the world famous GT Circuit (7.7km, the second longest track in the world). This is a Non-Speed event, no special safety equipment is required and the pace will be set by a pace car. This is not restricted to just your Bellett, you can drive whatever car you have come to the Nationals in. After spending around 30 minutes cruising the second longest race track in the world you'll be treated to a gourmet breakfast at the Apex Bar x Dining Restaurant at The Bend. Sign in will be from 8am sharp, on the track at 8.30am and breakfast around 9am. Please note, you need to book 1 ticket per person, whether they are driving, passenger or spectating and only attending the breakfast.
