What time of year would work best for a "blowout" sale for your business?
  • What time of year would work best for a "blowout" sale for your business?

We have tabled the event for this year but want your feedback to better plan for 2027!
  • Here’s what we're thinking:
🟡VIP Shopping (10:00 AM – 11:30 PM): early access ($10 per shopper) for those who want first pick at the best deals. Would include a promo canvas bag for shoppers.

🟡General Admission (11:30 PM – 4:00 PM): Open shopping for the public.

🟡Potentially 12 10x20 booths at $160 for members or $200 for non-members. This would be a rate with NO Pipe and Drape dividers - meaning you could potentially pop up a tent as the ceiling is high enough at Bayou Bend or create some kind of divider of your own.  The expense for pipe & drape came back extremely high and in an effort to provide the event & space at a lower rate to you, we are opting out of that addition.  This pricing helps cover the rental of the facility and event insurance costs. BUT we're looking into potentially purchasing our own for future use so if that happens, it will be provided at no additionale expense.  This of course will be an unknown until we are able to discuss further.

🟡Active Chamber Member businesses get first dibs on placement and the discounted rate.

This event would be offered to brick-and-mortar locations first before opening any remaining spaces more broadly. If you’re familiar with the boutique blowout in Baton Rouge, you know how successful and highly anticipated these types of events can be. Our goal is to create something similar on a local level that benefits our retail community while drawing shoppers from across the region.

  • Choose the time of year that you think would work best for St. Mary Chamber of Commerce to put together the Lagniappe Boutique Blowout for our local retail locations. Please note that this "sale" could include inventory you're trying to clear, but also serve as an event to launch seasonal items as well if wanted.
  • Should be Empty:
