Completed application form and a copy of student transcripts.

Recommendation from Teacher or Advisor.

Application Deadline: Friday, March 20, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.

When reviewing your application, we want to get to know you as well as we can. There is a limit to what grades and test scores can tell us so we ask you to answer a series of short answer essays. Use this opportunity to introduce yourself to the Awards Committee. Be open and honest. What you tell us in your essays allows us to better understand the information you have provided in your application.

The Cresswell Memorial Award was established by the friends and family of Jonathan “Jono” Cresswell upon his untimely death in 2008. In honor of Jonathan’s memory, Blue Mountain students who wish to learn a trade will have the opportunity to receive a $1,000.00 scholarship to offset the cost of their continued education. Preference will be given to an applicant who intends to pursue certification in masonry.

Applications are due at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026 - no exceptions!

Applications will be reviewed in early April, and applicants will be notified shortly after. If selected for this award, the Eagle Foundation Academic Awards Banquet will be held on the evening of Wednesday, April 29, 2026. More details to follow.
