New Beverage Showdown NYC 2026 Application
Overview

The New Beverage Showdown, sponsored by Coca-Cola North America New Revenue Streams, takes place during BevNET Live in New York City on June 10+11, 2026. Twelve emerging brands will have the opportunity to pitch their beverage to the BevNET Live audience and judges.

Selection Process

The BevNET team will select semifinalists based on the strength of their applications. The application deadline is Friday May 1, 2026 @ 5PM EDT. Applicants will be notified by email of their status the week of May 4th.

Competition Format

On June 10th, each semifinalist will give an "elevator pitch" to the judging panel on the BevNET Live stage, followed by feedback from the judges. The judges will announce the six finalists later that day.

On June 11th, the six finalists will present to a different judging panel live on stage, followed by Q&A with the judges. The judges will announce a winner at the end of the event.

Important Note: Pitches will also be live streamed and recorded for later publication on BevNET.com.

Prize

In addition to being named the New Beverage Showdown NYC 2026 winner, the winning brand will be awarded an industry awareness advertising package on BevNET.com valued at $10,000.

Applicant Criteria

Companies should meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Presenter must be registered to attend BevNET Live NYC 2026. Event registration and travel expenses are not included as part of your Showdown participation and are the responsibility of the presenter.
- Product must be a non-alcoholic beverage. Beverages containing CBD and hemp-based THC are permitted.
- Brand must be either pre-launch (with product available to sample) or have been on the market for less than two years as of the application date.
- Company funding of $2 million or less.
- Company must be in good legal and financial standing.
- The US must be the company's primary target market.
About the Application

This application should take no more than 10 minutes and includes questions such as contact information, product description, and company information. You are also required to submit a 2-minute video so we can get to know you better.

This application will close at 5pm EDT on Friday May 1st. All applications, including video submissions, must be received by this deadline.

Step 4 - Video Application
Our staff has the difficult task of choosing the semifinalists from all of the applications. To make our job a little easier, and to help ensure that all the semifinalists are qualified and prepared to present, we are asking all applicants to also submit a short video application.

Videos will not be judged on production quality - we mostly want to get a sense of your personality and comfort level with presenting.

Video Guidelines:
- Feature whoever will present on stage at BevNET Live, ideally the founder
- Elevator pitch style (What is your brand about? What makes it special?)
- Under 2 minutes long
- Mention the BevNET New Beverage Showdown
- Submitted no later than application deadline of May 1st

NOTE REGARDING REQUIRED JUDGES' SAMPLES - If you are chosen as a semifinalist, you will be required to send samples of your product in advance of the event for the judges' sampling - this is separate from any samples that you may send to our selection committee.
