커뮤니티의 목적은? (Purpose of the community)

이곳은 빅뱅엔젤스 포트폴리오 기업과 파트너, 멘토 분들이 편안하게 대화하실 수 있는 공간입니다. 목적은 빅뱅엔젤스와 항께 성장하는 포트폴리오 및 프로그램 참여 기업, 투자자, 지원기관, 일반 기업, 멘토를 서로 연결시켜드리려고 합니다. 따라서 상호간에 협력할 의사가 있는 80여 곳의 포트폴리오, 200여 곳의 프로그램 참가 기업, 200여 곳의 VC, CVC, 대기업, 중견기업을 본 커뮤니티로 초대하겠습니다. 온라인에서 열정어린 사람들이 자유롭게 연결될 수 있는 이곳이 빅뱅엔젤스가 지향하는 "플랫폼"입니다. 빅뱅엔젤스 패밀리 커뮤니티는 참여하시는 여러분 모두에게 자주 방문하고 싶은 공간이 될 것입니다.

 

This is a space where Bigbang Angels' portfolio companies, partners, and mentors can have a comfortable conversation. The purpose is to connect the growing portfolio and program participants of Bigbang Angels with the investors, organizations, general companies, and mentors. Therefore, we will invite more than 80 portfolios, 200 program participants, 200 VCs, CVCs, corporates, and mid-sized companies to this community who are willing to cooperate with each other. This is the "platform" that Bigbang Angels aims to be where passionate people can freely connect online. The Bigbang Angels Family Community will be the space that you want to visit frequently for all of you.

멤버로 초대되는 사람은? (About the invitees)

첫째 빅뱅엔젤스에서 투자 받은 포트폴리오 기업 또는 프로그램에 참여한 보육 기업 중에서 온라인 커뮤니티에 참여할 의지가 있는 기업을 우선적으로 초대드립니다. 둘째 빅뱅엔젤스가 보육하거나 투자한 기업을 만나고 싶은 투자기관 또는 이들과 협업하고 싶은 일반 기업과 지원 기관 중에서 빅뱅엔젤스와 적극적으로 협업하는 기관 소속분들을 우선적으로 초대하겠습니다. 셋째 빅뱅엔젤스의 직원과 벤처파트너, 공식적으로 빅뱅엔젤스의 멘토나 엔젤투자자로 활동하시는 분을 초대하겠습니다.

 

First, we preferentially invite companies that are willing to participate in the online community among portfolio companies invested by Bigbang Angels or the companies participating in the program. Second, I will preferentially invite investment institutions that want to meet companies that Bigbang Angels has nurtured or invested in, or those who actively cooperate with Bigbang Angels among general companies and organizations that want to cooperate with them. Third, I would like to invite the employees and venture partners of Bigbang Angels, and those who are officially working as mentors or angel investors of Bigbang Angels.

왜 슬랙(Slack)인가? (Why did we choose Slack?)

카카오톡 대화방이나 페이스북 그룹은 각자 장단점이 있지만 최종적으로 슬랙(Slack)을 선택했습니다. 아직 한글 버전이 없어서 불편하실 수 있지만, 글로벌 엑셀러레이터를 지향하는 빅뱅엔젤스는 추후 해외 파트너 및 스타트업과 대화 채널로 활용할 계획까지 고려해서 선택했습니다. 물론 슬랙이 기업용 메신저이기때문에 카카오톡이나 페이스북 같은 소비자용 메신저와 관리나 보안 관점에서도 근본적인 철학의 차이도 있다는 점이 중요했습니다. 단계별로 Google Drive, Zoom, Monday.com 등과 연동해서 여러분들과 다양한 자료 공유, 실시간 화상 회의, 협업 업무 관리 등으로 확대해 나갈 예정입니다. 

 

KakaoTalk and Facebook have their own pros and cons, at the end, I chose Slack. Although there is no Korean version yet, it may be inconvenient, but Bigbang Angels, which aims to become a global accelerator, chose to use it as a channel for dialogue with overseas partners and start-ups in the future. Of course, since Slack is an messenger for the enterprise, it was important that there is a fundamental difference from a consumer messenger such as KakaoTalk and Facebook from a management and security perspective. Step by step, we plan to link with Google Drive, Zoom, Monday.com, etc. to share various data with you, do real-time video conferencing, and collaborative work management.
