Step 1: General Rules for All Grades
1. Play Nice. Keep Things Simple, Safe & Fun.

2. All Sections of the Course Are Open to Normal Traffic: This includes side roads, access ways, and driveways. Remain safe and courteous at all times, and obey the road code.

3. Keep Left: Riders must keep as far left as possible throughout the event, riding no more than two abreast whenever possible. Use road shoulders where available to allow for the safe flow of traffic.

4. No Crossing the Centre Line: Absolutely no crossing of the centre line is allowed.

5. Respect Other Road Users: There are other legitimate road users on the course. Be aware that some may be frustrated by your presence.

6. No Reckless Riding: Disobeying the road code or riding recklessly will result in disqualification. Repeat offenders will be asked to find another race series.

7. Stick to the Course: The course consists of 3 marshalled corners and 3 corners where you have right of way. All key intersections and turns are marshalled. Be courteous and respectful to all marshals.

8. Accidents: In the event of an accident, stop to check on affected riders, call emergency services (Dial 111), and provide first aid if necessary. Notify the nearest marshal, who will contact the event organizers.

9. Have Fun, Race Hard, Race Fair, and Be Safe.

10. PODIUM: Held after the last grade has finished.

You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to race and that your bicycle is safe and roadworthy.

Participant Terms & Conditions

1. Acknowledgement of Risk
Road cycling involves inherent risks. By entering this event you acknowledge and accept those risks.

2. Liability
You participate at your own risk and release the organisers, volunteers and sponsors from liability except where required under New Zealand law.

3. Personal Responsibility
You confirm you are medically fit, your bicycle is roadworthy and you will comply with all event rules and official instructions.

4. Insurance
Personal accident and property insurance is your responsibility.

5. Event Rules
You agree to obey the New Zealand Road Code, all event rules and directions from officials.

6. Media Consent
You consent to the use of photographs and video taken during the event for promotional purposes.

7. Event Changes
The organiser may alter the course, distance, schedule or cancel/postpone the event where necessary for safety, weather or operational reasons.

Refund & Postponement Policy

If we postpone or cancel	100% Race Voucher or 80% Cash Refund

Entry fees contribute towards non-recoverable costs including council approvals, traffic management, medical services and event administration.
