This form is intended for staff or board members of philanthropic institutions – particularly private foundations, public foundations, 501(c)(4) funding organizations, and philanthropic infrastructure groups – that are interested in joining the Block and Build Funder Coalition (BBFC).
The BBFC welcomes philanthropic institutions that are in alignment with U.S.-based social movements and have the capacity to send a consistent representative to 1-2 calls a month.
We are also interested in hearing from the following institutions and individuals, with the caveat that we cannot guarantee membership in the coalition:
- Movement organizations that have strong, funder-facing organizing or technical assistance capacity
- Individual donors who have strong donor organizing skills or experience, with the caveat that the BBFC is predominantly an institutional space
- Advisors and consultants who are working with one or more BBFC member organizations; or who have specific skills or experience related to the BBFC’s Four Strategic Pillars for 2026
Unfortunately, the BBFC cannot accept unsolicited fundraising requests at this time, and is not an appropriate space for nonprofit development staff.
