Be part of the Community Turkey Dinner! This home-cooked meal is made possible by volunteers who lend a hand with setup, serving, crafts, cleanup, and deliveries. Whether you can give an hour or the whole evening, your help makes a big difference!
Here are some ways you can be involved:
Kitchen Prep
The dinner doesn’t make itself in one day! Join Katie & Niki, and ASG Officers in the kitchen during the week leading up to the event to help with chopping, mixing, and meal prep magic.
Setup & Décor
Help bring the cozy atmosphere to life and lend a crafty hand in the days before the dinner. Volunteers will assemble decorations, prepare table settings, and add the finishing details that make guests feel right at home.
Day-of Setup
Roll up your sleeves and help transform the Student Union into a festive gathering space. Perfect for early helpers who like to see things come together before the big event.
Food Service
Serve up smiles on the night of the dinner. Volunteers may help plate, serve, and keep things running smoothly throughout the meal on Nov. 20th, 5-7pm.
Food Delivery
Bring meal to community members who can’t attend in person. A friendly visitor with a warm meal can mean the world! Deliveries will take place during dinner service on Nov. 20, 5-7pm.
Clean-Up Crew
Help wrap up the evening by lending a hand with cleanup once the dinner winds down. Many hands make light (and fast) work. Volunteers needed from 7pm until we're done.
