REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP: Each company is required to meet the following criteria:
- Licensed - Idaho State Licensure Board Insured
- Minimum of $1,000,000 of insurance
- Clean record - no active liens, no pending lawsuits, and has responded on a timely and appropriate basis to any negative reviews
- 4.5+ stars rating on Google with a minimum of 20 reviews
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Been in business for over 3 years
- Professional, responsive, and experienced!
- On average, responds to inquiries within two business days and answers most phone calls throughout the day and/or calls CLIENTS back within one business day.
- Once contact is made with potential CLIENTS, appointments must be scheduled within 30 days (pending CLIENT’S schedule) and a formal, written proposal within 14 business days, and notification of BLN of the outcome within 14 business days.
- If the COMPANY named above does not meet the above requirements this AGREEMENT is null and void and neither of the PARTIES have any further obligation to one another. BLN will confirm by email whether COMPANY has been accepted or not.
IF ACCEPTED, COMPANY agrees to:
- Submit (and resubmit each year) their business license, contractor license, and insurance.
- Participate with BLN in an annual review that shall include a discussion about customer service performance and any feedback received from CLIENTS and or other COMPANIES to ensure that each company is maintaining and adding to the Network’s reputation
- Contribute 20+ high resolution images of their portfolio when they join the BLN prior to listing and within 30 days of acceptance by BLN.
- Leave at least (1) one Google review on the BLN Google account each year using the following format (or similar):
"(Name of Owner) with (Company Name) in the Boise Landscaping Network____________________________(review)."
- There will be no negative talk with, or about, any other company within the BLN when talking with CLIENTS.
- Promote and enhance the BLN reputation
SUSPENSION AND CANCELLATION OF AGREEMENT:
- Each company that is currently in the BLN will have a 1 month grace period to resolve any criteria that they fail to meet (I.e. If their Google review rating goes below 4.5 stars). If they have a lawsuit filed against them by a CLIENT, that will result in an automatic suspension and removal from the website until that litigation is resolved. Based on the outcome, the COMPANY will then either be reinstated or removed from the BLN. If they are reinstated, the balance paid shall be applied to the rest of their yearly subscription. There are no refunds if the litigation is not resolved.
- Feedback and/or Concerns
- Any feedback or concerns about another company within the Boise Network will be communicated directly to Brian Bentler, Owner of BLN. Such comments will be kept confidential. BLN will reach out to the COMPANY in question and address the feedback
PAYMENTS
- Initial setup: $400 (includes interviewing COMPANY, collecting business documents, adding COMPANY to the BLN website, and pays for their first month on the website)
- Monthly fee: $350 a month ($4,200 a year using auto-pay).
- To make it fair for all parties involved, the monthly payment plan shall be locked in for a full year and there shall be no cancellations or refunds.
- Paid in Full: $3,500 a year (A $700 discount [~16.66% discount] shall be applied if paid in full at the beginning of the yearly subscription)
All COMPANIES will notify BLN when any of the following events occur within 7 business days by email:
- Notify BLN when CLIENT has signed a contract with you.
- Notify BLN if you are dissatisfied in any way
- Notify BLN when you are entering into litigation with a CLIENT and provide a description of the dispute together.
- Notify BLN as to any issues which they are concerned about this AGREEMENT, so we can maintain positive communications between the Parties to this AGREEMENT.
BLN Charter
The Parties in this AGREEMENT agree to adhere to the following conduct guidelines.
- For the Third-Party Consumer (Customer)
- Transparency
- Clear disclosure that the consumer is being referred by a third-party BLN; and,
- That, the BLN receives a flat fee, monthly or annually, as agreed to by BLN and COMPANY. The BLN does not receive a fee for each referral or percentage of each job.
- Explanation of the referral process and how it benefits the consumer: doing the heavy lifting to qualify and maintain standards of quality;
- how BLN has selected the COMPANIES in the BLN and,
- reviews their reputation at least once a year as well as considers any CONSUMER feedback received.
- Data Privacy & Security
- Compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Clear policies on how consumer data is collected, used, and shared.
- Secure handling of personal and financial information.
- Unbiased Recommendations
- Ensure referrals are based on the consumer's best interest and are not based on favoritism or a biased opinion.
- Clear criteria for selecting which company to refer the consumer to.
- Right to Decline or Opt-Out
- Provide consumers with the option to decline working with the BLN.
- For the Sales Referral BLN
- Clear Contractual Agreements
- Establish terms for subscription costs, performance metrics, and responsibilities.
- Compliance with Legal and Ethical Standards
- Adherence to local, state, and international laws (e.g., anti-spam, consumer protection laws).
- Ethical practices in data handling, consumer interactions, and transparency.
- Documentation & Auditing
- Maintain detailed records of referral transactions, consumer interactions, and business dealings.
- Regular audits to ensure compliance and performance standards.
- For the COMPANY Receiving the Referral
- Clarity in Referral Terms
- BLN cannot guarantee the quality of leads since search is controlled by CONSUMER input.
- If all requirements and agreements are met by a COMPANY, BLN guarantees at least one successful lead resulting in a contract within the 12 months or else COMPANY shall receive a full refund.
- COMPANY agrees to notify BLN that a CONSUMER has signed a contract for work together with the contract date.
- COMPANY also agrees to notify BLN if referral does not result in a contract.
- Data Handling and Security
- Ensure the COMPANY follows data privacy regulations when handling referred customer data as specified by BLN; and.
- Has implemented cybersecurity measures to protect consumer information.
- Service Level Guarantees
- Provide a guarantee that the referred customers will receive a high level of service and a quality end-product that meets or exceeds the CLIENT’S expectations.
- Shared and transparent responsibilities
- Dispute Resolution
- Agreement between all the parties to resolve disputes professionally and promptly between CLIENT, BLN and COMPANY according to the terms of this Agreement.
- Performance Monitoring
- Regular reviews of the referral program's effectiveness and consumer satisfaction with each COMPANY
- A biannual report of the metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of the referral partnership.
- Communication & Feedback Loops
- Clear channels for feedback between BLN, the COMPANY, and CLIENTS.
- Regular updates on referral status, customer feedback, and potential improvements.
- Networking
- Networking between companies within the Boise Network is encouraged!
- Once a year, there will be a networking event that will allow COMPANIES to meet with one another to make business connections, refine their skills, and enhance the way they do business. COMPANY is expected to have the Owner or Owner representative attend unless impractical, in which case, please notify BLN.
