    Next Generation Pet Food Manufacturers Association represents pet food and treat manufacturers who use food ingredients as defined by 21 USC 321(f) (“food” means … articles used for food or drink for man or other animals) and do not violate 21 USC 342(a)(5) with adulterants (“A food shall be deemed adulterated…if it is, in whole or in part, the product of a diseased animal or of an animal which had died otherwise than by slaughter”). Next Gen PFMA also represents the retailers, distributors, and consumers who choose to provide Nutritionally DefensibleTM pet food and treats to pets under an Associate Membership Application.

  • Thank you for your application for membership in Next Gen PFMA! We are the ONLY trade association representing manufacturers of real pet food - those whose ingredients meet the true definition of food as defined by federal law - and the distributors and retailers who provide these products to pet owners. 

    Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be sent an email with the link to dues payment. Membership dues are based on gross annual revenue. Please contact us at support@ngpfma.org to discuss hardship situations or special circumstances. 

  • Thank you for your application for membership in Next Gen PFMA! We are the ONLY trade association representing manufacturers of real pet food - those whose ingredients meet the true definition of food as defined by federal law - and the distributors and retailers who provide these products to pet owners. 

    Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be sent an email with the link to dues payment. Membership dues are $67 annually for retailers, $297 annually for distributors and retailers with more than 3 stores.
