🍂 Cannons Wild Roots Forest School – Autumn Term 2026 🍂

Cannons Wild Roots Forest School offers children the opportunity to learn, explore and grow through hands-on outdoor experiences in a natural setting. Our sessions support confidence, resilience and wellbeing through carefully planned activities including nature crafts, bushcraft skills, den building, campfire cooking, whittling, and safe tool use such as hammers, peelers and palm drills.

Children are encouraged to take age-appropriate risks and challenges, helping them develop problem-solving skills, independence and self-belief, all within a safe, nurturing and supportive environment led by qualified Forest School practitioners.

As the seasons change from late summer into autumn, children will enjoy discovering the natural world, observing wildlife and seasonal changes, making new friends and experiencing the many benefits of spending time outdoors. Forest School promotes physical activity, emotional wellbeing, creativity and a lifelong connection with nature.

Sessions will run as a 11-week block on Wednesdays from 16th September to 9th December 2026, with a break for half-term.(No Forest School on Wednesday 21st October due to School Disco)

Cost: £10 per session (£110 for the full course).

Open to children in Year 1 to Year 4.

Places are limited to 20 children and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Completion of this form does not guarantee a place. Confirmation emails will be sent to successful families once registrations have been processed.
