PROTECTION OF INTEGRITY / SAFE SPORT
The "POLICY, RULES AND PROCEDURES FOR THE PROTECTION OF INTEGRITY" in force at the ASSOCIATION QUÉBÉCOISE DE CANOË-KAYAK DE VITESSE (legal name of Canoë Kayak Québec) aims to protect its members, volunteers and administrators by offering them a safe, healthy, fair and trustworthy environment. It imposes rules on people in positions of authority. It also mentions that it encourages the denunciation of behaviors, words, acts or gestures of abuse, harassment, negligence or violence as soon as they appear.
Canoe Kayak Canada, the AQCKV and the CCS do not intend to tolerate any form of abuse, harassment, neglect, physical, psychological or sexual violence during the national championships. Volunteers must adopt behaviors that demonstrate respect and fairness towards athletes, coaches, leaders, officials, parents and spectators; with good conduct and appropriate language free from verbal or physical abuse; encouraging sportsmanship, compliance with competition rules and the resolution of conflicts without aggression or violence and using social networks, the Internet and other electronic media in an ethical and respectful manner towards athletes, coaches, other volunteers, parents, leaders, officials and spectators.
