2023 Scholarship Application Form

Application Deadline - August 15, 2024
It is the desire of the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo Association to make available up to $2,000 awarded to Carbondale Wild West Rodeo Association contestants or volunteers who are actively enrolled in college or a trade school.

Value: Up to $2,000.00 for the academic year of 2024-2025

Deadline: August 15, 2024

Notification: Finals Rodeo, August 22th, 2024

Read and follow the instructions carefully prior to submitting your application. All recipients will be notified at the Finals Rodeo, August 22, 2024.
Eligibility:

1. A contestant or volunteer who has participated or volunteered in a minimum of nine (9) rodeos during the 2024 Carbondale Wild West Rodeo season.

2. A contestant or volunteer who has been accepted into an accredited
education program or enrolled in an accredited trade school
program.

Award Selection Process: The selection Committee will consider the applicant's:
- Resume
- (2) Letters of Recommendation (not from a family member)
- Applicant's Personal Statement
- Interview (if determined necessary by the Committee)
