The Courageous Steps Scholarship fund was established in 2014. By establishing The Courageous Steps Project Scholarship Fund, we continue to help young adults, who have learned to live with their challenges, to achieve their educational goals. Below is the criteria for the scholarship.
Essay (no more than 3 pages) - write an essay describing an obstacle that you have learned to live with in your life and/or challenge that you face everyday.
Disabled or Non-Disabled - You DO NOT have to be disabled in order to qualify ofr this scholarship.
Criteria for Essay - You must include evidence from other sources that have helped you throughout your life. This can include physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, parents, teachers, etc.
*Please attach your essay on the back of the application, and return to your guidance office by the deadline below!*
Depending on the funds received for the scholarship fund, there will be upwards of 1 to 2 people selected to receive a $250 to $500 scholarship.
