Summer Camp Disclaimer – Cat DepotBy enrolling your child in the Cat Depot Summer Camp program, you acknowledge and agree to the following:Assumption of RiskParticipation in activities involving animals carries inherent risks, including but not limited to scratches, bites, allergic reactions, or other unforeseen incidents. While Cat Depot takes reasonable precautions to ensure safety, we cannot guarantee that injuries or incidents will not occur.Health & Medical ConsentYou certify that your child is in good health and able to participate in camp activities. You authorize Cat Depot staff to seek emergency medical treatment for your child if necessary, and you agree to be responsible for any associated costs.Allergies & Medical ConditionsYou must disclose any known allergies (especially to animals), medical conditions, or behavioral concerns prior to participation. Cat Depot is not responsible for complications arising from undisclosed conditions.Animal Interaction & Risk AcknowledgmentWhile Cat Depot takes every precaution to ensure safe and positive interactions, working with animals always carries some inherent risk. Campers may experience minor scratches or nips, even when following proper handling techniques. All interactions with cats are closely supervised, and campers are taught appropriate, gentle handling and how to recognize feline body language. By participating in camp activities, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these risks. Any incidents will be addressed immediately by staff, and parents/guardians will be notified as appropriate. Behavior ExpectationsCat Depot reserves the right to dismiss any child whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or harmful to animals, staff, or other campers, without refund.Photo & Media ReleaseBy registering, you grant permission for your child to be photographed during camp activities. Images may be used for educational and promotional purposes.Personal BelongingsCat Depot is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought to camp.Release of LiabilityBy enrolling your child, you agree to release and hold harmless Cat Depot, its staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from participation in the summer camp program.Refund/Cancelation PolicyRequests for refunds must be received in writing. An 50% refund will be given if cancellation is received five (5) days or more before the first day of camp. NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN FOR CANCELLATIONS ON OR AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP. Cat Depot reserves the right to limit program enrollment and to cancel program completely if registration is below the required minimum.
