  • Thanks for your interest in CCT's School Group matinee performances. All School Group matinee requests are honored on a first-come, first-served basis. Completion of this form does not guarantee school group matinee approval. Space is limited.

    The School Group Matinee for Titanic the Musical will be performed at the Lincoln Theatre. The address for the Lincoln Theatre is 769 E. Long St, Columbus, OH, 43203

    Tickets will cost $15 per person (including students & all adults) for Titanic the Musical.

    *Transportation is not included in the price of tickets, and all groups are responsible for their own travel accomodations*

  • Request Process:

    • Schools must submit an online group request through this form for approval. Completed forms are not a guarantee of school group matinee reservation. You will be contacted regarding your request between 3-5 business days. If you have not been contacted before the 6th business day, you may reach out to Hunter@columbuschildrenstheatre.org to touch base. All School Group matinee requests are honored on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited.


    Performance Run Time:

    • The performance of Titanic the Musical is a full-length musical with two acts. There will be one intermission.

    Transportation:

    • Transportation is not included in the price of tickets, nor is it available through CCT. All groups are responsible for scheduling their own travel accommodations.

     

    Ticketing:

    • School Group Matinee tickets for Titanic the Musical will cost $15/person (including students & all adults). We will not distribute physical tickets and will assign group seating locations within the theatre based on necessary accommodations and to keep each group together as much as possible.
    • Ticket numbers may be adjusted on your reservation up to three weeks before the scheduled performance, subject to availability. No reservation number decreases will be accepted after this time.
    • If you provide a range as an approximate ticket count on your form and do not communicate an exact number at least three weeks before the scheduled performance, you will be invoiced for the highest number in your stated range.
    • Seats will be placed on a temporary hold for all approved requests until payment is received. 

     

    Waitlist:

    • Groups will be placed on a waitlist for sold out school group performances unless they are interested in attending performances outside of the school day. Groups will be notified if space becomes available in the order in which inquiries were received.

     

    Payment:

    • CCT will invoice schools via email of provided school contact no earlier than three weeks before scheduled performance.
    • Payment by card: All orders must be paid-in-full at least one week before the scheduled performance. 
    • Payment by check: Checks must be received by mail at least one week before scheduled performance. Checks should be made out to 'Columbus Children's Theatre.'
    • If payment is late (after one week prior to scheduled performance), CCT reserves the right to cancel ticket reservation.
    • No refunds whether partial or full will be issued.

     

    Inclement Weather & "Calamity Days:"

    • If your school is closed due to inclement weather on the day of your scheduled performance, please notify our office prior to show time. You will receive a credit for a future performance of the same show or school group performance of another show, subject to availability.
    • No refunds will be issued for inclement weather.

     

    Day-Of Procedure:

    • Please plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the performance.
    • CCT does not provide lunch and is unable to provide space for class lunches.
    • In order to ensure the best experience for all guests, please be aware that innapprioriate behavior may result in disciplinary action or suspension from School Group Matinee performances for one year.
    • We will take every effort to get you back to school in a timely manner. Please be aware that dismissal process may take longer than expected depending on number of schools in attendance. Please plan accordingly.
    • No children under the age of two are permitted into the theater.

     

    Performance Cancellation Policy:

    • Due to the nature of the entertainment industry, CCT reserves the right to change and cancel all performance dates and times listed in this form and elsewhere with limited or no advanced notice. Should CCT cancel a School Group Matinee performance for any reason, you will receive a credit for a future performance of the same show or school group performance of another show, subject to availability. No refunds will be issued.
