FLAG POLICY
ONLY the following flags are permitted to be displayed on any commercial, organizational, governmental, family and/or individual entry.

SIGNAGE POLICY
Any signage deemed inappropriate by CDA Regional Chamber staff or volunteers must be promptly removed before entering the parade route. In the event that inappropriate signage is found to be permanently affixed or irremovable from your entry, the offending participant forfeits their entry fees and will be removed from the parade. We kindly ask that all participants adhere to this policy to maintain the celebratory and inclusive atmosphere of the parade.
ACCEPTABLE signage that may be displayed on any commerical, organizational, governmental, family, or individual entry:
- Officially endorsed campaign signs for political candidates. Example: Candidate's Name and Office.
- Slogans like "Happy Independence Day!"
- Decorative signs relating to your entry theme/design.
- Messageing promoting unity and togetherness
- Signs honoring veterans, active-duty military personnel, and first responders
- Signs with the name of your entry/organization/club/etc.
UNACCEPTABLE signage that may not be displayed on any commercial, organizational, governmental, family, or individual entry:
- Advocacy signs promoting controversial political issues or agendas.
- Displays containing divisive or inflammatory language related to political debates.
- Symbols associated with specific political movements, religions, or ideologies.
- Signs displaying slogans or messages that incite political division or unrest.
- Campaign materials promoting ballot measures or political initiatives.
- Any signage promoting political events or fundraisers.
- Images or messages that directly attack or antagonize individuals or groups based on their political beliefs or affiliations.
We admire that you are passionate about what you believe in, but this parade is NOT the platform for promoting individual beliefs. We are here to say, "Happy Birthday America!" and unite our community.
