Buyer Responsibility

Cedar Doodles offers a one year genetic health guarantee*, that covers all genetic life threatening defects. In order for the genetic health guarantee to be in full effect buyer agrees to:

1. Complete Well Puppy Exam within 3 Business days:

For protection of buyer and seller, after pickup the puppy must have a well puppy exam by buyers licensed veterinarian within 3 business days of pick up, or shipment date.
If the puppy is declared to be in unacceptable health by the licensed vet, the veterinarian must issue a written statement of diagnosis, and this must be included when the puppy is returned.
The puppy must be returned to the seller at buyers expense, within 3 days from the veterinarian assessment and buyers money will be refunded.

2. Complete scheduled puppy vaccines/ wormers, on time and have proof of record.

Ensure puppy recieves appropriate puppy vaccines
Ensure puppy stays on worming protocol
Maintain record of vet visits/vaccination records

3. Until puppy is fully vaccinated (16-20weeks) Buyer agrees to

Wait to enroll in obedience training
No dog parks
No association with other dogs
Not allow the puppy to walk on the floor at the vet office, stores, or other public places in which disease could be possible. Parks, lawns, grass, commonly used dog bathroom sites.

Breeder represents that this puppy has no known disease or life-threatening congenital defects at the time of delivery or pickup.

6-8week Nobivac vaccination

Reserve Your Teddybear: Deposit to reserve goldendoodle puppy is $500 & applied to total purchase price. Deposit is nonrefundable. If in the event of extenuating circumstances you are unable to purchase puppy deposit can be transferred to another litter for up to a year.*

Event of Rehoming: Puppies are not sold on a trial basis. In agreeing to these purchase terms you are agreeing to the commitment for the lifetime of the dog. If in the event the puppy needs to be rehomed buyer can opt to find puppy a suitable home. Buyer request breeders help in notifying people on waitlist of availablity. If buyer opts to have puppy returned to breeder, they will relinquish all rights, and no refund will be given. Buyer will be responsible for return delivery.*

Buyer Responsibilities:

1. Buyer is responsible for the cost of puppy transportation (Flight nanny, ground transportation, delivery)

a. If Buyer chooses to use a flight nanny the puppy will need to be paid for in full 24 hours before being released to the flight nanny.

2. Buyer agrees to adhere to the terms as stated in Genetic guarantee

3. Buyer agrees to spay/neuter their dog.

4. Buyer agrees to feed high quality puppy food, ensure dog has appropriate socialization, exercise and is groomed regularly.

5. Buyer agrees to contact the breeder first in the event of rehoming, they will discuss how this will take place.

6. Buyer agrees to continue to work with, teach / train their dog/ puppy. A variety of resources are available. We highly encourage Baxter and Bella Online school for the upmost success with buyers new puppy. Use code (CRR25)

Cedar Doodles Genetic Guarantee

Cedar Doodles Genetic guarantee protects the buyer against congential threatening defects* to their puppy. As responsible breeders, we genetic test our parent dogs prior to breeding them. This allows us to make decisions about potential offspring that will allow us to offer the healthiest puppy possible.

A congenital defect is defined as:

A congenital life-threatening puppy defect refers to a severe and often fatal health issue or abnormality that is present in a puppy from birth and is inherited or developed during gestation. These defects can affect various systems in the body, including the cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, or other vital organs. Life-threatening congenital defects typically have a significant impact on the overall health and well-being of the puppy and may significantly reduce its chances of survival.

*If in the event of a life threatening genetic defect, the buyer must contact the seller prior to treatments or surgery for said defects, to review all possible treatments. In the event of such defect detected by two unassociated veterinarians, the buyer shall be entitled to another puppy from a breeding that is acceptable to both buyer and seller.
If puppy is disposed of prior to contacting breeder (seller) this contract is void.
Buyer will need to review with seller prior to making a decision in event of congential defect

This warranty doesn't cover

Hernias, Ingestion of foreign objects, Cancer, Anxiety, Stress, age related health problems, cosmetic issues, viral illness, infection, stress related infection, endocrine disorders, grade 1 or 2 patella, hypoglycemia or allergies, or parasites, underbite/overbite*

Parasites* (Coccidia, Giardia, Tapeworm, External parasites) ,Parasites are a normal part of puppy ownership. Your puppy is in our care and kept on a strict worming protocol since birth. They are given appropriate wormers every 2 weeks til they leave our care. Worms can lie dormant in the gut and easily come out when the puppy experiences stress, despite being on a worming protocol. This includes the stress of changing homes. Buyer is responsible for parasite treatment

Underbite/Overbite*In addition to genetic testing our dogs, we also ensure that all dogs have excellent conformation along with scissor bites. In rare cases we will have a puppy that has an underbite or overbite. If there is misalignment: Puppy is ineligible for breeding rights, and buyer will be notified of puppies misalignment prior to picking puppy. Buyer has the option of choosing a different puppy. If buyer chooses to take a puppy with an underbite/overbite, they are accepting the puppy in as in condition. We are not responbile for treatment of the underbite or overbite, as it is a cosmetic condition. We have ensured the puppy is able to have normal activities of daily living prior to marking them as available.You have the right to refuse a puppy with an underbite.

Puppy Purchase/ Reservation
