Cedar Doodles Genetic guarantee protects the buyer against congential threatening defects* to their puppy.
As responsible breeders, we genetic test our parent dogs prior to breeding them. This allows us to make decisions about potential offspring that will allow us to offer the healthiest puppy possible.
A congenital defect is defined as:
A congenital life-threatening puppy defect refers to a severe and often fatal health issue or abnormality that is present in a puppy from birth and is inherited or developed during gestation. These defects can affect various systems in the body, including the cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, or other vital organs. Life-threatening congenital defects typically have a significant impact on the overall health and well-being of the puppy and may significantly reduce its chances of survival.
- *If in the event of a life threatening genetic defect, the buyer must contact the seller prior to treatments or surgery for said defects, to review all possible treatments. In the event of such defect detected by two unassociated veterinarians, the buyer shall be entitled to another puppy from a breeding that is acceptable to both buyer and seller.
- If puppy is disposed of prior to contacting breeder (seller) this contract is void.
- Buyer will need to review with seller prior to making a decision in event of congential defect
