Requirements for Scholarship Eligibility
● Student must be Foundation for the Fine Arts member for the 25-26 school year. (Chorus and Orchestra students who paid dues are already members.)
● Student must be a graduating senior.
● Student must have a minimum GPA of 85%.
● Student must have participated in a Fine Arts discipline for at least 2 years.
● Student must be or have been enrolled/participated in a Fine Arts class or discipline at Centennial during the 2025-2026 school year.
● Student must be attending college after graduation.
Instructions for Scholarship Application
1. Request a recommendation from a Fine Arts teacher. Inform your teacher of the application deadline. Teachers will have a copy of the recommendation forms to submit. Teachers may return to you in a sealed envelope or placed in our scholarship folder in the front office.
2. Submit proof of college/secondary school admission (copy of admission letter, etc.). If the admission letter has not yet been received at the time of submission, note it on the application.
3. Complete and submit the Academic and Extracurricular Information on the following pages. Information may be typed, or neatly printed, and additional pages may be added.
4. The final question/essay: “How has participation in the Fine Arts through your high school years influenced the person you are today? Do you plan to continue fine arts beyond high school and, if so, how?” Essays must be typed with a minimum of 250 words and a maximum of 500 words. In the event of applications with similar qualifications, the essay will be the deciding factor.
