  • Thank you for your interest in working for Chapel Place Sports Camp (CPSC) 2025. Applications are due Sunday, March 22, 2026 by 11:59pm.

    LIT experience is an asset however equivalent camp experience will be considered

     Please be advised the minimum age to be a Leader is 17 (by December 31, 2026)

    Please note that your employment at Chapel Place Sports Camp is dependent upon successful completion of an interview and successful receipt of funding. 

    Pre camp dates for Leaders: June 29-July 3 (excluding Canada Day) (9am-3pm)

    Pre camp dates for Program Directors: June 22-July 3 (excluding Canada Day)

    Camp Dates: July 6-Aug 31 (8am-5pm)

  • CRITERIA FOR CPSC 2026 STAFF **PLEASE READ** 

    - Willing to be a servant of God and actively growing in Christ. 

    - To be above reproach, showing Christ in lifestyle, and able to show Christian attitudes under stress (Phil. 2:14 - without complaining and arguing)

    - Steady involvement at Chapel Place Presbyterian Church or other Church.

    - raise $200 as part of personal fundraising for camp.

    - Must be at least 17 years of age as of December 31st, 2026, and must have completed grade 11 by June 2026.

    - Agreement with the philosophy and goals of Chapel Place Sports Camp: 

    - To challenge children physically with an active program, equipping them with thorough instruction and skill development in various sports. 

    - To disciple children with Biblical values and truth. 

    - To provide a loving and inclusive environment for social interaction between staff and campers. 

    - Active development of leadership skills.

    - Keen interest in working with, and discipling children. 

    - Commitment to development of emotional maturity. 

    - Certified in first aid before the first day of camp. 

    - Meet all responsibilities as presented by specific job description outlines. 

    - Refrain from working any other jobs for the duration of camp. 

    - Able to Commit to the entire summer camp ministry which includes: 

    - Mandatory Fundraisers throughout the year and summer (from mid-May onward, some weekends must be committed to the camp). 

    - 1 Pre-camp week (June 29th – July 3rd - excluding Canada Day) for leaders

    - 2 pre-camp weeks (June 22-July 3rd) for program directors 

    - 4-week sports camp (July 6th to July 31st)

    - First Aid Training - Saturday, May 30 (required if you do not already have certification)

    - NEW: Possible Saturday Training Sessions in May-June (times/days/frequency TBD)

    - End of Year BBQ (Wednesday, July 29th, 2026 at 6-10pm)

    Please do not book any vacations before, during, or immediately after camp. Please let us know if there are any planned absences.
