In order to be considered for AmeriCorps service, applicants must consent to a 3-part background check including a Sex Offender National Registry Check, a State of Service Name-based Check, and a National Fingerprint Check. These checks are run through two AmeriCorps-specific vendors (Truescreen and Fieldprint), and are separate from the Texas DPS fingerprint check that is required by CISCT to serve on school campus. I acknowledge that to be eligible for service, I must consent to these checks and complete them before I can start serving hours with AmeriCorps.
