Third-Party Ethics Commission Nomination
Section 12 of the adopted City of Lancaster Home Rule Charter calls for the creation of an independent Ethics Commission, to be made up of seven (7) City residents, appointed as follows:
- Two (2) members appointed by the Mayor
- Three (3) members appointed by City Council
- Two (2) members appointed by the City Controller
Candidates for appointment to the Ethics Commission will be placed on a public list of nominees to serve on the Commission. Candidates may nominate themselves, or be nominated by others.
