The APTA Pennsylvania Practice and Research Committee invites members to submit abstracts for research, case reports, and special interest reports for presentation at the APTA Pennsylvania MovePA Annual Conference Oct. 22-24, 2021, at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA. Submitted abstracts will be peer reviewed for consideration for platform or poster presentations. Abstracts that have been submitted or presented at other conferences may be considered for the APTA PA MovePA Annual Conference.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION DUE TO COVID-19 CRISIS:
MovePA is scheduled to be held live in Pittsburgh, PA. However, in the event that emergency restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic are still in place, the conference may be moved to a virtual platform. In the event that this happens, both platform and poster presentations will still be presented as part of this conference.
In order to assist with the review process, we require that you strictly adhere to the posted guidelines for submission. Reviewers will closely assess for adherence to formatting guidelines, in addition to other stated criteria and standards. Download the APTA Pennsylvania Abstract Submission Guidelines.
To be eligible for consideration, the primary presenter must be both an APTA and APTA Pennsylvania member. The primary presenter is responsible for all communication to/from the Chapter and Practice & Research Committee, and for forwarding any communications to other researchers included in this study. If the primary presenter is a student, the responsible faculty member’s name and contact information must also be provided.
The Call for Abstracts closes on June 14, 2021 at 12:00 noon (EST). All submitting parties will be notified of the outcome by Aug. 27, 2021.
