2026 Spring Civic Leadership Academy Application
The Mayor’s Community Engagement Office is preparing to launch its next cohort of the Civic Leadership Academy, an engaging 8 week program that provides residents with an in-depth look at City government. The program gives participants an insider’s view of how the City of New Orleans operates. With this knowledge, participants are better equipped to lead collective action towards the advancement of neighborhoods’ and residents’ quality of life.

An eligible participant must be a resident of the city of New Orleans and at least 18 years old. (Each applicant MUST provide proof of residency.)

Applications will be received until 5 pm, Monday, March 2nd, 2026, or UNTIL CAPACITY IS REACHED at which time applicants will be placed on a waiting list.
