Parks and Racquets San Marcos Fall 2018

USTA Texas and the City of San Marcos (Parks and Recreation) have partnered together to bring the "Parks & Racquets" program to the San Marcos community! Parks & Racquets programs are available for Juniors (ages 6-18) and Adults. Instructional and match play programs are offered for all skill levels. All programs and Play Days will take place at the Rio Vista Park tennis courts (555 Cheatham St, 78666).

Program options include week day afternoon classes meeting Tues and Thursdays as well as Saturday afternoon classes.

Tues/Thurs Afternoon/Evening Classes: Six Class Session Cost $75/person/session, these classes will be taught by tennis coach Julia Lizcano under the direction of Coach Sam Chadwell. Please select program(s) and session(s) you are registering for.

Hot Shots 10 and Under - Tues/Thurs 5:00 to 6:00 PM. Games based instruction using low compression orange balls. Class sessions meet twice a week for 3 weeks. Cost: $75 per session. (age 7-11)Hot Shots Junior High/High School - Mondays 6:00 to 7 PM PM. Games based instruction, singles and doubles strategy and tactics for beginner through intermediate play. Class sessions meet twice a week for six weeks.Adult Beginner Drill - Mondays 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Learn all the basics of tennis with fun, easy progressions. This class is perfect for both new players and those who haven’t played in a long time.
