  • Honor Pin Nomination Application

    The Honor Pin recognizes a registered adult Girl Scout’s exemplary service in support of delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, which has had measurable impact on two or more geographic areas of service, allowing the council to reach and surpass its mission-delivery goals. Nominations are accepted year-round and are reviewed by the committee on a rolling basis.
  • Award Requirements

    1. The candidate is an active, registered adult Girl Scout.
    2. The candidate abides by GSUSA and Girl Scouts River Valleys’ policies, standards and procedures.
    3. The candidate actively recognizes, understands, and practices the values of inclusive behavior.
    4. The service performed by the candidate is above and beyond the expectations for the position held, and has made an impact on a geographic area within the council’s jurisdiction.

    Nomination Instructions

    1. Complete the nomination application at any time. You will be asked to provide the date the award is needed. The nominations will be reviewed within 30 days of the date indicated on the application.
    2. Note that if the candidate is approved for an award, they will receive a copy of the endorsement questionnaire responses.
