Thanks Badge Award Nomination Application
The Thanks Badge honors a registered GIrl Scout adult whose ongoing commitment, leadership, and service have had an exceptional and measurable impact on meeting the mission-delivery goals and priorities for the council and the Girl Scout movement. Accumulative years of service are considered for this award. Nominations are accepted year-round and are reviewed by the committee on a rolling basis.
Award Requirements
The candidate is an active, registered adult Girl Scout.
The candidate abides by GSUSA and Girl Scouts River Valleys’ policies, standards and procedures.
The outstanding service performed by the candidate resulted in outcomes that benefitted the council or the entire Girl Scout organization and are significantly above and beyond position requirements.
The candidate actively recognizes, understands, and practices the values of inclusive behavior
Nomination Instructions
Complete the nomination application at any time. You will be asked to provide the date the award is needed. The nominations will be reviewed
within 30 days of the date indicated on the application.
Note that if the candidate is approved for an award, they will receive a copy of the endorsement questionnaire responses.
