Participating as a Judge with the 2027 Clinical Pathologic Case (CPC) Competition means participating in both the preliminary and semi-finals competitions.

Preliminary Competition Timeline

• On-line/Virtual
• December 14, 2026 – January 8, 2027 - Review and score assigned cases, and submit scores to CORD as instructed.
• Review submissions via the online platform.

Semi-Finals Competition

• Attend in-person at the Omni Atlanta at Centennial Park in Atlanta, Georgia.
• Meet immediately prior to the CPC Competition for a CPC briefing on both days that includes lunch/breakfast, meeting your team, and your team leader.
• Judge and score the Semi-Finals Competition in conjunction with the 2027 CORD Academic Assembly:
  • Sunday, April 18, 2027
    • 12:00pm to 12:45pm ET Judges Lunch
    • 1:00pm to 5:00pm ET Competition
  • Monday, April 19, 2027
    • 7:00am to 7:45am ET Judges Breakfast
    • 8:00 am to 1:00 pm ET Competition

• I am available and agree to score the cases virtually in the preliminary round and can score my cases by January 8, 2027, deadline.
• I will be available in person at the 2027 CORD Academic Assembly, taking place at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park in Atlanta, Georgia.
• I understand that by participating as a judge I am not able to participate as my programs Faculty Discussant or speak at a session during the competition days/hours listed above.
