PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Stoney Creek Farm is proud to offer drop-off home school tutorial and enrichment options for children ages 7 to 14, Tuesday through Friday! We also offer family enrichment classes on Mondays for all ages. We are a "core" studies tutorial that is rooted in faith, being in nature and hands-on learning for those families seeking core instruction, while simultaneously offering enrichment classes for those homeschool families who have their core covered! We provide high quality, student focused, accessible outdoor education to home school families within and around Franklin, TN.

PROGRAM HOURS:

Tuesday through Friday, 9am to 1pm, with optional aftercare activities. Monday family enrichment classes are available through a separate registration form.

PROGRAM SPECIFICS

The Nature Explorers tutorial has a small student/teacher ratio, with 15 students to two teachers, which allows for a hands-on, personalized experience for each child. Parent volunteers and special visitors from the community are also welcomed throughout the year with a background check. We follow the Williamson County schools calendar for holidays and inclement weather days.

All days at Nature Explorers include scientific exploration, creative writing, lab time, nature journaling, outdoor free play, child-led discoveries and group discussions. Specific core curriculum and enrichment lessons are taught on the following days:

At this time, we do not offer math as a part of our core tutorial packages. Instead, we have an onsite math tutor for optional after school studies. We also provide parents with a list of excellent math curricula to help you find something that works best for your student.

PRICING:

Option A:

Core Tutorial Plus Wednesday Enrichment (Tues, Wed, Thurs)

$600 per month

Option B:

Core Tutorial Plus Friday Enrichment (Tues, Thurs, Fri)

$600 per month

Option C:

1 Day Enrichment (Your choice of either Wednesday or Friday)

$260 per month

A one time, non-refundable deposit of $200 is required upon registration in the program regardless of the number of days your child will be attending.

HOLD HARMLESS

PARENT or GUARDIAN agrees to hold STONEY CREEK FARM harmless from any claim resulting from damage or injury to STUDENT, including but not limited to legal fees and/or expenses incurred by STONEY CREEK FARM in defense of such claims.

EMERGENCY CARE

STONEY CREEK FARM agrees to attempt to contact the PARENT or GUARDIAN at the phone numbers provided should STONEY CREEK FARM feel that emergency medical treatment is needed for the STUDENT, provided however, that in the event that STONEY CREEK FARM is unable to so contact the PARENT or GUARDIAN within a reasonable time, which time shall be judged and determined solely by STONEY CREEK FARM, STONEY CREEK FARM is then hereby authorized to secure emergency health care by any licensed providers of such care who are selected by STONEY CREEK FARM. The cost of such care secured shall be due and payable by the PARENT or GUARDIAN within 30 days of treatment if treatment is billed directly to STONEY CREEK FARM.

The PARENT or GUARDIAN and STUDENT shall indemnify, defend and hold STONEY CREEK FARM, its officers, agents, employees and contractors harmless from any and all liability for damage of claims for property damage or personal injury, including death, and any other claims whatsoever, arising out of or resulting from negligence. Indemnification shall include reasonable costs of defense, judgments, settlements, attorney’s fees and such other costs as may be fixed by the court. STONEY CREEK FARM is not responsible for loss or injury, or damage to person(s) or property.
