• Young Seints Color Match

  • Welcome to the Young Seint family! These few questions will help me select the best shades & options for your personal lifestyle & requests. Based off of the information given below, I will make a sample cart for you, of which you have absolutely no obligation to purchase anything in it! It more so gives you a starting place to familiarize yourself with our shopping link, know what shades that will personally suite you, and personalize your own makeup routine & options. You can even add & subtract items to your liking, and if you want me to review it before you place the order to ensure no steps were missed - I can do that! If you are curious about a shade or color, get it! I say this because Seint also has a 30 day return policy AND a 60 day shade swap policy.

  • SELFIE TIME!

Color matching virtually is one thing; but color matching cream makeup is whole different situation! In order to successfully & correctly match YOUR skin tone to the perfect makeup shade, it is crutial to have a photo with some basic parameters.

    1) Ensure your face is clean & free of makeup.

    2) Stand in indirect sunlight (in front of a window)

    3) Hold your phone in selfie camera mode with your knuckles touching the window & your arm straight out (You should be ~3ft away from the window)

    4) Take that beautiful selfie & attach it!

  • Lip & Cheek! Our L&C's double as blush & lipstick. Seint offers a variety of shades, sheens, & shines! (Please note: Matte options will last longer as they have more pigmentation. The semi gloss & glossy options work well for layering over a matte option, or even as a touch of shine alone.)

  • What to Expect in Your Cart

When adding items to your personal cart, I start with 2 highlights - 1 will be for "all over", and the other is your brightener (so used under & on your eyes, as well as the middle of your face to show dimension & draw attention to the center of your face.)

The next item I add is your contour. This is to bring out the 3D nature of your face by exentuating your cheek bones.

Third, I add a Lip & Cheek (lipstick/blush). This is where you can add or change the shade to suite you and your style better! I even recommend getting a few so you can change up your looks with your clothing styles, if you want to.

Fourth, I add an Illuminator. This gives your face the shimmer & shine on the high points - the top of your cheek bones, cupid's bow, under your eyebrow tails, etc.

It's always a good idea to get the setting spray, as it also doubles as a primer. When using cream makup, it is important to use silicone-free products, as the silicone can & will move around your makeup during the day. The spray lasts a few months & has a fine mist when fully depressed. I recommend spraying in an "X" pattern & a "T" pattern. (When using as a primer, you can also benefit from the perfector sponge by using that to evenly coat your skin with the spray and prepare it for your makeup.)

I also add a brush to your cart selection for application. Seint brushes truly do apply so much differently than any other brush I've used previously - especially with a cream makeup base. The IIID brush works great for starting because of the pointed end, to get under your eyes & in tighter places; and then the larger end for all over your face & larger areas of coverage. If you are interested in further brushes, I can give further recommendations pending what products you plan on purchasing - bronzer, eyeshadows, more extravagant contour, etc.

Lastly, I add a pallet. This can be changed to suite your personal taste for color choice & how much you plan to expand your makeup collection by. To start with the main items I place in your cart, an 8 will suffice. If you plan to add more items i.e bronzer, more lip & cheek colors, eyeshadows, vanilla dust powder, brow wax, etc. - then a larger pallet may be elected to start with. An added bonus of Seint is the more tins you purchase, the more of a credit Seint will give you to go towards a pallet to hold them! (Note the credit does not transfer or grow with more orders - it is only applicable for the current order before it is placed)

The perfector sponge as mentioned above with the setting spray can also be helpful for after your makeup is completed if you think you may have applied too heavy. The sponge will pick up any excess makeup & give an even coverage apperance.

The bare minimum for starting with Seint's HAC (Highlight and Contour) usually includes the 2 highlights (brightener & all over shade), contour, 1 lip & cheek, a pallet, & a brush.

If you are interested in adding or changing your cart but don't know where to start or have questions, PLEASE feel free to reach out to me.

Thank you for your support of my small business & family!
