2025 ARCHA STALLION SERVICE SALE BREEDING CONTRACT

I hereby donate to the Alberta Reined Cow Horse Association one breeding to a designated mare by my stallion named above for the year 2025.

This ARCHA breeding contract is transferable to the mare owner who is the winning bid determined by the auction, anticipated to run from Dec 15, 2024 - Feb 15, 2025  Alternatively, the stallion owner/donor may purchase their own stallion service at sixty five percent (65%) of the advertised or "established" breeding fee at the time of donation. The stallion owner/agent shall supply the appropriate documentation to facilitate the registration of the resulting foal according to the appropriate breed registry.  Only one embryo transfer will be recognized per contract.  In the case of frozen semen, the same rules apply as a live stallion breeding donation, as long as semen is viable.  A live foal is guaranteed only to the extent of a return breeding the following year (2026) and then only by the initial owner of the contract.  Any mare care charges, accidents, illness or mishap concerning the mare is the responsibility of the mare owner.  The mare owner shall contact the stallion owner/agent and be responsible for any and all charges/fees related to the execution of this contract. 

The ARCHA is not responsible for any costs, expenses, or charges relative to the execution of this contract by the breeding facility not contained or recorded in this contract. There will be no refunds unless the stallion dies or is unable to provide semen. The ARCHA involvement in and responsibility for the stallion service terminates, except as otherwise provided in this agreement, upon the transfer of the breeding to the mare owner.  The mare owner will be bound by the conditions of the stallion’s contract once breeding is sold.
