  • Cruzan Satos Rescue is a foster based rescue, and 100% volunteer based. We are a small rescue based out of St. Croix USVI. We send our rescue puppies to foster homes in the states to find thier forever homes.

     Our mission is to help the stray dog population on the island of St. Croix. We are a positive, professional foster-based rescue dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating stray and unwanted dogs. Our goal is to keep dogs out of the shelter environment and on to being rehabilitated in a foster home until they are ready for their forever homes. 

    ADOPTION FEE FOR PUPPIES IS $415

    ADOPTION FEE FOR ADULT DOGS $250

     Our adoption fees relfeclet both medical and travel cost for each puppy. All of our dogs come fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, flea/tick meds, and given heartworm prevention. We also pay for the dogs to leave the island with a volenteer pet escort and flight fees can range between $125-$150 per dog bag and $250-300 for cargo transport for bigger dogs.

  • This questionnaire is designed to help Cruzan Satos Rescue and yourself determine if a specific dog is the right one for you and your household. All adopting parties are required to complete this form prior to adoption. All Paws Rescue reserves the right to deny any adoption based on answers to this questionnaire and/or interviews prior to adoptions!

  • Terms of agreement:

    We reserve the right to deny anyone to adopt a dog/puppy without explanation. Even if I am applying for a certain dog, I understand that dogs are adopted to the best match and not first come, first served. My application may still be approved but may be better suited to another dog. During the seven (7) day period from the date of adoption, We may refund the adoption fee for a returned animal. In no case will we refund other expenses incurred on behalf of the animal. We reccomend getting your new puppy estiblished with your vet in the first two weeks after adoption. 

  • Upon receipt of this application, an Adoption Coordinator will check your references, including your current vet, and then get back to you about scheduling a facetime home check. All potential adopters are required to have a facetime home check in order to be approved to adopt.

    They will also tell you how to get in touch with the current foster of the dog/puppy who would be a good match for your home. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible, but please understand we are staffed by volunteers and it may take a few days.
