This is an online program with interactive live practice sessions so we can monitor your progress and provide instant feedback for your performance.

The program is designed to be completed within 12 to 16 weeks.

*Note: These are the fees for students who are accepted into the Culture Advantage program.

If a student only wants to take Part 2 Language-specific  Course, the fee is $400.00 plus $90.00 for the section private coaching/oral exam (optional). This option is offered to healthcare professionals (physican, nurses, PT, SLP, Pharm D., etc.). If you would like to have two private sessions with the mentor, the additional fee would be $160.00 (discounted) which includes two private sessions. You must have completed a course equivalent to Part 1 of the program to be accepted into this option.

Healthcare Professionals who complete the Part 2 Language-specific Section only and pass the Oral Exam, will receive a certificate of proficiency (Language Proficiency and Medical Communication Skills) in the non-English language.

Payment Option 1: Prepaid

$795.00 Prepaid Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.
Plus $150.00 Comprehensive Final Evaluation (CFE) ($75.00 Final Evaluation Retake Fee if needing to retake the CFE.)
The CFE is to be paid when you reserve the final evaluation date. The final evaluation date must be reserved at least one week in advance.

The program is designed to be completed within 12 weeks. An extra 4 weeks is given free of charge to account for times when you are not able to log in, to allow for grading times, or for extenuating circumstances.

Extension Fee After 16 weeks is $90.00 for one month extension. *Subject to change without notice. Please contact me at that time for the current fee.

 

Payment Option 2: Per Course Fee

The fee is $300.00 for each part of the program.

You have two months to complete each part. 

The CFE is to be paid when you reserve the final exam date, at least one week in advance.

Part 1: $300.00 (Section 1 and Section 2) 3 to 4 weeks access

Part 2: $300.00 (Section 1 and Section 2) 3 to 4 weeks access

Part 3: $300.00 (Three sections) 3 to 4 weeks access

Final Evaluation Fee: $150.00 to be paid when reserving the final evaluation date.

Extension Fee: $90.00 Extension Fee per month after 3 months. *Subject to change without notice. Please contact me at that time for the current fee.

 

 

Payment Option 3: Weekly Plan (Please email Marlene for more information if you choose this option.)

The payment is $100.00 per week for 11 weeks for a total of $1100.00. This fee does NOT include the Comprehensive Final Evaluation. Final Evaluation Fee: $100.00 to be paid when reserving the final evaluation date.

If you are choosing the Weekly Plan, you will need to follow a scheduled learning plan. You only receive access to the lesson/section that you are paying for.

Calculating your End Date  and Final Evaluation Date

The program length is 12 weeks (with 4 weeks free extension if requested for extenuating circumstances.)

This means that you have up to 12 weeks (or 16 weeks if approved) to complete the program.

Curriculum

The following requirements have to be successfully completed in order to receive a professional certificate of 60-Hours.

1. Part 1: Comprehensive AMT (Anatomy and Medical Terminology for Interpreters) English (Up to 6 weeks)
2. Part 2: Comprehensive AMT (In the other language) (Up to 6 weeks)
3. Part 3: Professional Medical Interpreting Skills (Up to 6 weeks)
4. CFE (Paid separately.) (Reserved at least one week in advance.)

You may start at any time. There is no waiting period.

Once you complete payment processing, you will receive your log in access within the same day. (Or you may leave a message what day you would like to start.)

First, you will receive access to the Online Orientation so you can become familiar with the course format and so you can optimize your operating system. During this time, please feel free to contact us so we can assist you personally.

After the orientation is completed, you will receive access to the first section!

Please note: There is a $30.00 cancellation fee if the transaction is cancelled within 24 hours. If the transaction is cancelled after 24 hours, but within 7 days of registration, the cancellation fee is $50.00. There is no refund after one week of registration. You may request to change your start date to accomodate your personal needs after registration. The program must be completed within 6 months of starting the program (with extension fees). Additional fees may be charged for any participation or access to any part of the program such as Orientation, Pretest, or access to any of the learning activities. The cancellation process may take at least 24 hours.
