Terms and Conditions – “Raising the Bar” 6-Week Challenge
By registering for the “Raising the Bar – A Better Me for a Better You” 6-week challenge, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
Open to all individuals who complete registration and pay the $20 entry fee.
Participants must be residents of New Zealand.
Participants must choose a personal goal to work on throughout the challenge period (21st June – 2nd August 2025).
2. Registration and Entry
Entry fee: $20 per participant.
All entries include automatic entry into the Grand Prize Draw.
No refunds will be issued once registration is complete, regardless of participation or withdrawal from the challenge.
3. Early Bird Prize Draw
The Early Bird Prize Draw is open to all participants who register and pay by 11:00 AM on 21st June 2025.
All qualifying early registrants will be entered into a special Early Bird Prize Draw, held on the afternoon of 22nd June 2025.
4. Challenge Period
The challenge begins on 21st June 2025 and ends on 2nd August 2025.
All fundraising and sponsor entries must be received by 2nd August 2025 at 11:59 AM to be eligible for the final draws.
5. Prizes
Grand Prize – Ultimate Countryside Escape:
Includes a 1-night stay on 9th–10th August 2025 in a premium countryside location.
Multiple Grand Prizes will be awarded based on participation, funds raised, and donations secured.
Sponsor Grand Prize – Cordis Hotel Stay, Auckland CBD:
1-night luxury stay for two at Cordis Hotel on 9th–10th August 2025, including a special high tea experience.
Open to sponsors who donate $10 or more during the challenge.
Top Fundraiser Grand Prize – Hobbiton Ultimate Package:
Double pass to Hobbiton Movie Set, gift basket with themed goodies and treats.
6. Weekly Prize Draws
Weekly draws are open to:
Participants who raise more than $10 in sponsorship during that week.
Sponsors who donate $10 or more during that week.
Each weekly draw opens Sunday at 11:00 AM and closes the following Sunday at 11:00 AM.
Winners will be announced that Sunday afternoon and contacted during the week to select and claim their prizes.
7. Additional Entries
Participants earn 1 additional Grand Prize entry for every $10 raised in sponsorship.
Sponsors receive 1 Grand Sponsor Prize draw entry for every $10 donated.
8. Conditions of Prize Acceptance
Prizes are non-transferable and must be used on the designated dates:
Country Escape: 9–10 August 2025
Cordis Hotel Stay: 9–10 August 2025
Winners must make their own travel arrangements.
Winners are responsible for any incidentals or additional expenses incurred during the stay.
Any damage caused to accommodation or property will be the responsibility of the winner, and they agree to cover any repair or replacement costs.
9. Conduct
Participants agree to act in a respectful and honest manner throughout the challenge.
Fundraising efforts must be genuine and legal.
Organisers reserve the right to disqualify participants found to be violating rules or engaging in misconduct.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected is for the purpose of administering the competition and contacting winners.
Information will not be sold or shared with third parties.
11. Changes and Cancellation
Organisers reserve the right to amend these terms, substitute prizes of similar value, or cancel the competition in the case of unforeseen circumstances.
