An announcement for all of my current, future, and potential clients. My schedule is now only 4 days a week. I’m taking a break from XXL cohesive pieces (think back pieces, full cohesive sleeves) and there is a small potential for reschedules as I manage some health concerns. Feel free to still inquire for XXL pieces and we can still discuss it, or I may have a good referral for you!

Description of tattoo
Please include all the details and information that will be useful during the design process. Too little information can delay the booking process. If you want flowers, what kind? You want a character, what sort of poses do you like? Have you considered a background? Are there certain elements that are most important to you? That sort of thing.
Placement on the body
Please specify left or right side and the body part. Example: left outer thigh.
Size of tattoo
In inches. Example: 8” tall by 4” wide. It can be an estimate, but try to make it as accurate as possible since size can affect details.

The pieces above are all tattooed with only black ink (and some white highlights.) This is my preferred method for colorless tattoos. I've included these examples because I'm frequently asked what I mean by "blackwork" and how it differs from smooth black and grey. I will occasionally use a grey wash (diluted black) in really light areas, depending on the design, if I think it will be the best in terms of aging.

Below are examples of blackwork combined with a pop of color. My instagram is filled with examples of my full color pieces, both neotraditional/illustrative and anime if you would like to see more examples of those!

This is to get a general idea of the price tag you’d like to keep your tattoo at or below. If your budget doesn’t quite match your plans, we can discuss options like more sessions, less detail, etc. It’s an awkward question to both ask and answer but I want us on the same page :) I can usually give high end-low end estimates, or even flat rate smaller pieces. Sleeves, backs, really large pieces with a lot of detail, are strictly hourly as it’s really difficult to do time estimates on those. You may also put “no budget,” if you’re not really concerned about it and we can discuss.

Any allergies to products I may use or any conditions that I should be aware of prior to your appointment? I strive to find alternative products or make accommodations whenever I’m able to. However it is your responsibility to check with your doctor and make sure you are medically able to be tattooed.
Especially if you’re allergic to coconut oil, or any other nuts or seeds. Anything that could be in a soap or skincare product. Or any other allergies that could be a concern. State none if none. I ask so that if I need to make specific adjustments to the products I use, or plan out extra time for someone with conditions that may need additional breaks, snacks, sessions, etc, I can plan ahead. I want the process to be as safe and low stress as possible!
Photo of where you’d like tattooed (on your actual body, not a placement concept off of Google. I want to see the proportions of the area I’ll be working with and I’ll also use this image to draw over so that the tattoo fits your own unique anatomy.) If your tattoo will be in a private area, go ahead and leave this space blank. Please do not send nude photos or photos that show more skin than necessary.

Please take a nice flat photo of the area in a relaxed standing pose (if you are unable to stand, then just a relaxed straight-on camera angle of the area). Find another person to help if possible or use the timer on your phone camera.

Please include any reference photos. You can also reference my own tattoos! Since I tattoo in a few different styles (it’s too hard to pick just one), referencing my own work lets me get an idea of what you’re looking for in your tattoo.

I don’t copy other artists’ work, but reference photos help give me an idea of what you’re wanting so that I may design something similar.

Thanks for filling everything out! Or if you didn’t fill everything out, please do so before submitting. Unanswered questions can lead to delays with booking or your request being rejected. I know it’s a ton of questions, but I get a lot of inquiries and this helps me speed up the process for y’all and reduce the back and forth! I look forward to reviewing your request!

You’ll still get a response even if I’m not the best fit for your project. I may even have referrals for you if I know the perfect artist for the piece! I usually get twice as many inquiries as I have spots for, so if for some reason your idea isn’t accepted, it’s not at all personal or any reflection of your idea! Tattoos just turn out best when they’re done by someone who is the right fit :)
Wait Times!

I typically receive a lot of inquiries when my books open and work full time while reviewing them. I don’t have an assistant currently, so it takes a while for me to get through everything while trying to balance my tattoo appointments, drawing times, emails, and time with my child and family. It can take up to 2 to 3 weeks for me to get back to everyone. I’ll try to be prompt and send out as many as possible on Mondays and Tuesdays :)
