An Extension is for individuals that normally have a tax liability (owe taxes) but they are not ready to file their tax return by the tax deadline day (April 17, 2023). If you fall in that category, you can request an extension of time to file to avoid late filing penalties & interest. Our cost to electronically file an extension is $45.00, which will be deducted from your overall tax return preparation fee upon us preparing your 2022 tax return.
