TAAL Policies, Guidelines & Tuition Agreement
Please review the following school policies carefully. These include tuition, attendance, dress code, behavior, performance, media, and liability. By enrolling, families agree to abide by these policies throughout the session.
- Tuition for session programs is a fixed fee for the full term, is not prorated, and is non-refundable once paid. Payment plans do not apply unless agreed to in writing. Enrollment is confirmed once this form and full payment are received.
  
  No refunds or credits are issued for missed classes. If TAAL cancels a class due to weather or emergency, a group make-up may be scheduled at TAAL’s discretion. If classes are interrupted due to severe weather, natural disasters, government orders, utility outages, or other circumstances beyond TAAL's reasonable control, TAAL may reschedule classes or modify programming as appropriate.Consistent attendance is required for performance eligibility. Students must arrive on time and be picked up promptly. No unattended students are permitted before or after class. Non-participants are not allowed in classrooms during instruction.
  
  Session programs may include performance opportunities. Participation is based on attendance and preparedness. Costumes and any applicable recital/performance fees are separate and will be communicated in advance. All choreography, music, and class material are the intellectual property of TAAL and may not be shared, taught, or performed elsewhere without prior written permission.
  
  All registrations, private lessons, choreography, and performance requests must go through TAAL administration (not instructors directly). TAAL reserves the right to refuse services to anyone who does not support studio policies.
  
  Media Release
  
  I grant permission for TAAL School of Dance & the Indian Arts to photograph and/or record myself and/or my child during classes, rehearsals, performances, and studio events.
  
  I understand these images or recordings may be used without compensation for educational, promotional, advertising, website, print, social media, and other lawful business purposes.
  
  I release TAAL from any claims relating to the use of such photographs or recordings.
- I acknowledge that participation in dance, music, and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, accident, or illness. Participation is voluntary.
  
  On behalf of myself and/or my child(ren), and our heirs and assigns, I voluntarily assume all risks and release, waive, and hold harmless TAAL School of Dance & the Indian Arts, SSJA Investments LLC, East Butler Point LLC, and their directors, owners, teachers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of participation in any class, rehearsal, performance, event, or related activity, whether on or off premises, including claims of ordinary negligence to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  
  In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize TAAL representatives to obtain emergency medical treatment and emergency transportation if deemed necessary. I understand that every reasonable effort will be made to contact me immediately and that all medical expenses are my sole responsibility.
