  • Change Log:

1/8/2026 took all instances of Clare Harris's email out of notification emails and auto response emails and added speakers@dcmga.com in their places.

Also checked and changed/edited the excluded dates for both Plant Sale and Garden Tour for 2026 in the settings for the Date selector.

1/1/26 - added education@dcmga.com (Barbara Smith) to the notification email.

    11/24/25 changes

    - The dates for blacked out dates were updated to reflect the 2026 Plant Sale and GT.

    - A new question was added to the form after asking the submitter about the topic expectation, which is how they will promote this event to their audience (lessening DCMGA Comm resources).

    - A print button was added to the bottom of the form so that submitters can optionally print their request before submitting the form and verbiage was added for instructions.

    - Update to the Topic List that already existed to reflect the 2026 strategy of providing only topics that are already approved and supported by AgriLife handouts and that DCMGA SB has already created as Templated presentations. Two topics may be added back when presentation materials and speaker preparation has been completed; they are Propagation and Trees.

    • for expanding the number of people who can deliver these presentations
    • scripted for quick learning of topics and consistent delivery of key points

    - Mary Beth Logsdon will be getting a JF log in so that she can assist Clare with the SB updates and requests for Calendar event creation.

A sister survey form Speakers Bureau Feedback was created and provides a Generic Survey format allow the audience to use a QR Code (added to all Presentation Templates slide decks) to allow for quick feedback from audiences without using paper handouts, making our efforts more green.

Changes were made in the EAR that allow Clare to be informed about whether speakers request new material approval from the CEA Hort.
