Do I qualify for a scholarship?
Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of these criteria: need and merit.
Need: Scholarships are considered for individuals who could not otherwise pay for one class or program in a given session.
Merit: Scholarships are also considered for students who show a degree of acumen or interest in theatre arts.
Scholarship Agreement
Applications are due two weeks before the start date of class. Applying for a scholarship does not guarantee placement in class. Upon notice of a scholarship award, payment is due via phone or in person within one week to complete registration and guarantee placement in class. If payment is not received within one week of award notification, the award is subject to forfeit. All scholarships are considered. Requests for scholarships can be numerous, therefore to serve the community at large most requests for scholarship will be awarded in part as opposed to in whole. Students who receive scholarships are expected to attend 100% of the classes. Failure to adhere to this may result in denial of future scholarship requests.
