The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) in partnership with the Pineapple Grove Arts District Board and Merchant Community, are creating an event that features and celebrates art, culture, history and the vibe that Pineapple Grove is known for throughout the city and county. This event will kick off “Beatles on the Beach” which is held throughout Delray Beach. This evening, street-closed event will be a time to showcase the local businesses with open house events & pop-up tent exhibits, as well as showcase food, fashion and style. This family-oriented event encourages engagement from city and community partners, businesses and residents alike! The event will take place on NE 2ND Ave from E. Atlantic Ave to NE 3rd St. from 6 to 9 p.m.
PARTICIPANT OVERVIEW & REGISTRATION:
The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is inviting all businesses within Pineapple Grove to participate. We encourage all businesses on NE 2nd Ave from Atlantic Ave to NE 3rd St. to ACTIVATE your business location space. We DO NOT want to see dark spots. This is the best opportunity for an OPEN HOUSE EVENT, themed to celebrate the Beatles and/or Pineapples.
PGAD Businesses off NE 2nd Ave:
We are also inviting the Pineapple Grove Businesses located off of NE 2nd Ave to have the opportunity to showcase their business in one of the vendor tents. These are available only by completing this registration on a first come basis. Space is limited. Businesses need to be located within the Pineapple Grove district.
The following application and contract consist of (1) the rules and regulations before, during and after the Festival, (2) the application process and fees, (3) facts and information about the event and (4) the event checklist and Indemnification Hold Harmless Agreement. The contract must be filled out completely. By signing this contract, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the information provided and requirements for vendor participation and agree to the terms herein provided.
The vendor shall provide a certificate of general liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 coverage naming the DDA and the City of Delray Beach, as an additional insured and providing for 30 days’ notice of cancelation. If there are any questions regarding this requirement, please email Lsimon@downtowndelraybeach.com. The DDA has the right to refuse vendors.
