    It's important that we know whether or not you have CDL setups as CDL setups require a lot more compliance documentation.

  • CDL COMPLIANCE NOTICE

    You must have obtained all CDL compliance docements on your own. Castle Mountain does not provide these for you, but we do have a DOT Compliance Consultant that we partner with to help get our CDL holders compliant. 

    If you need help in that regard, please finish this application and we will provide you with our CDL Compliance Officer's contact information.

  • HOW OUR INSURANCE WORKS

    As of Jan 1st 2026 all drivers leased on to a Carrier's MC must be listed on that Carrier's Certificate of Insurance.

    Castle Mountain Hotshot charges $350/week (whether you are OTR or not) for insurance. Team setups will be charged $400 a week.

    Coverage

    • Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Combined Single Limit

    • Automobile Liability Combined Single Limit

    MC + Commercial Insurance holders: we apologize for the inconvenience, but, with us, you will be able to book loads while while your MC matures. 

    If you have a Commercial Policy without an MC (why?) ditch it and roll with us.

  • CMH Insurance Notice

    At Castle Mountain, we charge a flat fee of $350 per week for our insurance coverage. If your Motor Vehicle Record comes back with infractions that cause your premium to exceed the $350/week, then you will need to pay the difference.

  • At Castle Mountain Hotshot we follow DOT and FMCSA guidelines and regulations and we want to make sure you are setup for success on the road.

  • WARNING: If you aren't willing to drive in the Hotspot area, then we will probably not be a good fit. 

  • IMPORTANT NOTE ON SCHEDULE

    If you live outside of the Hotspot area (see "Lanes" above), we are only taking drivers that can be on a 3+ week rotation (3:Reset). That's three weeks driving before a reset. Reset length is up to you. 

     

    If you live in the Hotpsot Area, we are more flexible with schedule needs, but prefer drivers that can do 2+ weeks (2:Reset) OTR.

    We are open to drivers that require a different schedule, but know that we specialize in drivers that want to be OTR in our HOTSPOT region.
