Welcome! How wonderful that you are choosing to share your gifts with the Denman Dance Temple community! Thank you!

This form is required at least one month prior to your DDT facilitation date and will need to be completed each time you play with us so that we always have your most current bio, tech requirements, and theme.

If this is your first time and you are unsure how to answer any of the questions, please feel free to reach out via our website.

We are here to support you and happy to help with anything you need. There is also a space at the bottom for any additional questions, comments, or feedback you'd like to share. We can reply once you have sent this form.

Please read through the entire form before filling it in, as you may need to gather some information, photos, or other materials ahead of time. We prefer to receive it as one complete entry if possible.

Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation of your details by email. If anything additional is needed on either end, feel free to reply directly to that email and we will do the same.

Remuneration in exchange for your offering is $100 plus travel costs up to $20. If we have a great turnout, we will definitely offer more. We are happy to pick you up at the ferry if you do not have an Experience Card.

Please note that your hosts and dance tenders do not make a profit from DDT but may require $ for event rental and poster printing costs. As we grow we hope to offer the DJ more $

Technical Requirements (What kind of gear to you have) or link to your EPK (Electronic Press Kit) + Tech Rider - this can be a link to a Folder in Google Drive, Dropbox or Canva. We supply a full sound system including a bass bin, speakers and a 6 ft table (and a mixer if required). We might be able to supply DJ gear depending on what you need but preferably we hope you can bring your controller or CDDJs and mixer.

Artist Bio (100 - 150 words) if possible please include if you are an up and coming DJ, new on the scene or a veteran.

Your Dance Temple Theme Description (50–100 words) - We reserve the right to shorten or edit your description, we will have you review any changes. If you want to give us your theme idea- we can write the description for you. Ideally, your set reflects this theme. If you need help, let us know and we can create it for you. Just a theme idea is all that is required

Your theme's image or a graphic or something we can model (like a photo you like online, if you have one. All photos must be royalty free or your own thank you. No ai generated photos please. This photo will be used for the poster so please share a high resolution image. We use a poster template that uses our own branded fonts - so just a high resolution photo is required here. No text is required and we don’t expect you to make the poster. We will use your photo and logo if shared. If you don’t attach one we will create an image or use a photo of nature etc that reflects your theme as well as reflects our vision for Denman Dance Temple. We may reach out to a local artist to share their image or take our own photo, if you don’t provide one.

Setup time is between 8:30/9am. Doors open at 10:15 and we begin at 10:30am. We aim to finish around 12:15. If catching the ferry over from Vancouver Island you'll be on the Buckley Bay Ferry and you can catch the 8:20am ferry or the the 9am ferry.

Speakers (including one monitor) and cords will be provided for you unless you wish to use your own gear. A 6 foot table will also be provided. You may want to bring something to raise up your controller / system if you are tall.

Feel free to bring a cover for your table or let us know if you need one. We create an altar, however if you wish it to reflect your theme please also add that in below in the comments and we will do our best. If you wish to create the altar also let us know that in the comments below. Thank you 🌱💕

Do you agree to share this event on your social media profiles or pages at least twice before the event date? If you are not on social media, we ask that you share it via text or email with friends in the local area. As a bonus but optional, we love when facilitators invite friends to the Facebook event or tag friends in our DDT page posts. We will provide you with a graphic to use if you would like, and we warmly encourage a personal note alongside it on Facebook or Instagram etc. You can also use a personal photo of anything that relates to your theme
