Dear Coloradans,

We are soliciting the public to contribute your used bags/luggage for the creation of Denver International Airport's (DEN) newest eye-catching art installation "It's Not What You Take, It's What You Bring Back".

DEN Location: Concourse B-East Expansion Site. To be installed by 2025.

We are looking to acquire used luggage and/or bags that have connections to Colorado.

Examples: Maybe you used it exclusively on business trips to build your business. Or maybe, it's your grandmother's luggage she used when she visited family back in Japan. We want to hear about your luggage/bags and the background of the individuals who used them.

Please fill out the form below, and upload images of your item(s). From there, we will determine which items are a good fit for this project. If your item is determined to be a fit, we will be in contact in the coming months about collecting your item for this project.

Above are various types of luggage/bags we are hoping to acquire from the public:

- Rucksack bags
- Cosmetic bags
- Equipment bags
- Pelican hard case (or similar)
- Briefcases
- Travel crates (small)
- Handbags/purses
- Pet travel bags (small)
- Tripod bags
- Vintage luggage
Size Requirements: Smaller than 28" x 18" x 10"

How will the bags be used?

The bags will be upcycled through an extensive prepping process. The pieces will then be incorporated into the suspended sculpture. The images below is an example of how lugguage and bags will be assembled and/or suspended into the sculpture.
