    Dogs need to be able to focus on their handler in a room with other dogs present and moving around, and have basic obedience skills. Dogs also must be under control on a harness or flat collar and be nonreactive to people and dogs.

    Misa is a Certified Fear Free Professional trainer and a member of the APDT.

    Misa has over 15 years’ experience with positive, dog-friendly methods of training ranging from group classes to private sessions. Her knowledge, experience, and sense of humor encourages students to approach dog training as a team effort, where students learn as much from their dogs as dogs learn from their people, making training fun for humans and dogs alike!

    4:15-5:15pm

    Open Agility Hour/Agility Equipment Specific Workshops

    This class is designed to introduce your dog to and build specific skills for each of the different types of agility equipment. Each week, the focus will be on a different obstacle to ensure they are confident with each piece of equipment.  This is also great for reinforcement and practice!

    5:15-6:15pm

    Agility Foundation Class

    Agility Foundations is the perfect starting point for those new to the sport of agility. In this class, you will learn the essential skills needed to succeed. This foundation will serve as the building blocks for all future agility training. Investing time and effort into developing a strong foundation will make subsequent training easier for both you and your dog. The class emphasizes the development of teamwork between handler and dog, focusing on understanding, communicating, and executing agility course sequences and equipment effectively.

    6:30-7:30pm

    CGC/CGCA Skills Prep and Testing

    CGC is a ten-skill training program that’s open to all dogs that have some basic obedience training.

    People have found the program is a fun way to spend time with their companion dogs while learning valuable life skills!

    The CGC Skills class focuses on teaching the basics of good manners and obedience, instilling the values of responsible ownership, and strengthening the bond between you and your dog at home and out in the community.

    This class is also an excellent refresher for those who want to do therapy dog work.

    7:30:8:30pm

    Brain Games and Enrichment

    Your dog's behavioral health thrives when they have opportunities to engage in natural canine behaviors. This fun and informative course teaches you how to use enrichment games and activities to meet their needs, reduce problem behaviors, and enhance their overall well-being. Learn practical strategies to help your dog live a happier, more fulfilling life through targeted enrichment.
