Conditions for riding at Oppistal/Innistal:
- Lesson fees must be paid in advance.
- An annual increase will take effect in January.
- An 8% late fee will be added to your account if fees are not received by the end of the month.
- We reserve the right to take the rider to hospital if they are injured and we are unable to reach the contact person.
- We have a weight limit of 85 kg per rider.
- In case of rain, we will continue with theory lessons. Unfortunately we can't re-schedule the lesson.
- In the case of a show or pony camp, an alternative lesson time will be agreed upon.
- Lessons may vary every week. (e.g. horsemanship, trail, western pleasure, reining, and outrides). Every week we have a different theme.
- Absenteeism for longer than three lessons without prior arrangement will result in replacement.
- If your instructor cannot make the lesson, you will be informed timeously. An extra lesson will be arranged.
- Riders must wear a riding hat at all times when mounted.
- Riders may wear denims and jodhpur boots. (School shoes are also allowed). No takkies please.
- There will be no lessons on public holidays, fees are however still payable.
- Full payment for December month is required.
- Oppistal is closed for one week during March / April and June / July and September holidays. Dates will be sent in advance on the Oppistal WhatsApp group.
If you wish to terminate this contract, a written notice of one calendar month is required. Outstanding fees will incur a collection commission, which may include attorney and tracing fees. We reserve the right to sell your horse if fees remain unpaid for more than three months.

Although every necessary precaution will be taken to prevent accidents, neither Oppistal / Innistal / Die Stal Ministry or the instructors, facilitators, employees, any agents, guests nor other persons associated with Oppistal / Innistal / Die Stal Ministry or the said therapists/facilitators/instructors will be held
responsible for any claims regarding a person arising from an accident which may occur whilst the person is on the premises or at any outing by or on behalf of Oppistal / Innistal / Die Stal Ministry or any of the said persons. This indemnity shall in addition be deemed operative as against any third person suffering damage consequent upon such injury, damage or death.

Oppistal likes to celebrate achievements and as a result images may appear on our website, social media, newspaper articles, flyers, brochures etc. With your permission the images will be used in good taste.
