For years I read the story of Martha and Mary and longed for the time that I would become more like Mary and less like Martha. For a long time, I felt I was living in my Martha years. My life was so busy and chaotic that I was sure that God understood that I would fit Him in as much as I could. One evening, I woke up in the middle of the night in a panic. I was sick to my stomach with putting God on my back burner and decided I needed to close that chapter of my life. I prayed to God to for deliverance from the Martha mindset, and I felt His love all over me, and the panic feeling quickly dissipated. God revealed to me the things I needed to change to deliver me from my Martha mindset and took me on my journey to the path of living at His feet. During this time, He told me that I would write about it to help others that seek the same change in their lives. It is my honor to share my journey of moving from living a life that Martha lived to being at the feet of Jesus and receiving the good part that Mary experienced. This book is my testimony of the miracle working power Jesus manifested through me.
