Welcome and thank you for taking the time to nominate a fellow POC member for the Ambassador Award.

This award honours a POC member who supports and mentors' other organizers, is actively involved with their chapter and is an outstanding contributor to their local community through volunteer work in any capacity.

POC members may nominate one or more organizers whom they know to have made outstanding contributions in this area. Ambassador Award nominations may be made by members of the public or POC members.

Previous Ambassador Award recipients are eligible to win in subsequent years if their achievements during the award period merit re-nomination. Preference will be given to individuals who have not won before, but when there is clearly not a more deserving nominee, the Awards Committee may choose to give the award to a previous Ambassador Award recipient.

The nomination process has been simplified. You nominate a member, and the nominee provides most of the details. This is a time saver and allows for more accurate information.
Eligibility Criteria

All points below must apply to the Nominee for eligibility.
- Nominee is actively involved in their chapter (i.e., supports and mentors other POC members, has served on the executive, attends meetings, etc.);
- Nominee actively volunteers in their community;
- Nominee has been a POC member for at least 2 years;
- Nominee has consistently upheld the POC Code of Ethics.
Current POC Awards Committee are not eligible to be nominated for the Ambassador Award.
