After the Winter Storm

disABILITYsa knows that many San Antonio residents with disabilities did not have power, water, or the right support during the recent historic winter weather event. Our community needs to improve its planning and response to emergencies and disasters so that what happened during the winter storm will not happen again.

To help us make changes, our organization needs as much information as possible from San Antonian's with disabilities. We want to know what happened to you in the winter storm, how it impacted you, and if you are still experiencing problems as a result of the storm.

Your stories will help us to advocate for much needed change.

We're working to collect the stories of those living with a disability within the San Antonio community who were impacted by the Winter Weather Storm during the week of February 15th through the 19th.
