  • IN-KIND DONATIONS

    Thank you so much for your interest in joining with disABILITYsa to invest in our mission to educate, advance, and engage people with disabilities by building connections, exchanging information, and strengthening our disability community in the greater San Antonio area. 

    There are a number of ways you can donate to support a vision to help make San Antonio the #1 community where people with disabilities want to live, learn, work, and play. 

    • Gift Certificate / Gift Card
    • Retail item
    • Dinner for Two
    • a “PURSE” (purse, handbag, tote, carrying bag, container, toolbox, briefcase, ice chest, bucket, gift basket, etc.) 
    • an accessory (jewelry, tie, shoes, etc)
    • Use of your vacation property, airline miles, etc.
    • Use of event space
    • Service (catering (food or desserts), hosting a gathering, legal, digital design, photography, videography, ASL translation services, DJ, etc)
    • volunteering as a team-building experience for your team

    Your donation may be used as part of program supports, a raffle prize, silent auction, or incentive package to further strengthen our mission and move our work forward in the greater San Antonio community.

    • DONOR RECOGNITION

      Your company will be recognized on our social media channels and tagged upon receipt of the donation.  Once it is paired with an event or promotion, we'll recognize your contribution publicly as part of the auction/raffle/incentive as well as in our periodic newsletter to our community and in various printed materials.

      We are happy to recognize in-kind donors on as many social media platforms as you have profiles.

    • DONATION USE

      Your donation will be used to leverage financial, volunteer, or collaborative support for the programs and services of disABILITYsa.  Below are some of the ways we regularly utilize in-kind donations to advance our mission and strengthen the disability community in the greater San Antonio area. 

      • Programs: Donations of services (catering, volunteering, legal, photography, etc) support our programs and can help leverage hands-on supports, increased donor participation, and ultimately generate the operational funds or resources needed to sustain our impact.
      • Silent Auction: disABILITYsa has several opportunities through our annual Purse-u-ability Fundraiser, Leadership & Life Skills programs, and Holiday fundraising activities.
      • Raffle: Nonprofit organizations are authorized to host two Raffles each year.  One of our raffles takes place at the annual Purse-u-ability Fundraiser and a 2nd may take place in the fall.
      • Incentives: Some in-kind donations are occasionally used to encourage participation in data collection that helps to inform the work of disABILITYsa.
