TXLC Summer Youth Program Volunteer Information Form
The Texas Leadership Consortium Summer Youth Program will not be possible without the help of numerous volunteers.

Here are a few volunteer opportunities needed during the week of June 9-13, 2025:
-Setup and Breakdown
-Check-in and Check-out of Students
-Breakfast and Lunch Setup
-Assist staff and administrators as needed

***A background check and child protection training is required to volunteer. Upon approval, you will be sent additional information and a sign-up genius to volunteer where needed.

I understand that I must complete the following Background Check and Child Protection Training in order to be a volunteer in this program.
I understand that I must be 18 years or older to participate as a volunteer in this program.

1st STEP - Please click on this link to submit your background check information:

2nd STEP - Complete the Rice University Child Protection Training:
1. Click on https://apps.ideal-logic.com/rice and select Community Login.
2. Create a New Account. Once the account set up is complete, sign out.
3. You will log in again and then the training will be available for you to take.
4. Click on the following link to complete the training: Child Protection and Molestation Training
5. A score of 90 is required to pass. You will find a red Action Required box at the top of the Home menu when you log in. You have unlimited attempts to complete this training.
6. Save your certificate when you are done.
3rd STEP - Return to this page and click SUBMIT to complete the registration
